Expo is in full flow, with all manner of events, showcooking, meetings and tasting sessions involving the city both in and outside the pavilions hosting the show. DesignCircus also wishes to make a contribution by dedicating its next event to food.
“Design for Food” is in fact the name of the two-day event that will take place Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June in the splendid rooms of Palazzo Giureconsulti, in Piazza Mercanti, Milan.
This is the venue for the fourth flash temporary event dedicated to the best of Italian production: an event that has been backed by Arbos since its first edition.
Taking centre stage this time are the table and the kitchen. Designers and small producers – coordinated by the creative artist Stefano Epis and the PR Laura Alberti – will tell the public about their ideas and interpretations of objects associated with food: plates, glasses, cups and dishes, but also tables, dining chairs, centrepieces and everything else that makes the table and kitchen the stars of the home.
On this occasion, Arbos will take part with its exercise book/catalogue designed in collaboration with DesignCircus. During the two-day event, it will also be possible to touch the quality of the finest ecological stationery made in Italy, and to purchase it directly from the producer.
This edition of DesignCircus sees the participation of 23 young designers, creative artists and brands representing the excellence of all-Italian production.
The event dedicated to design will be next held on October 11th and 12th, also on the occasion of Expo, and the theme will be “Green Design”.
