The FAI (Italian National Trust), which has been dedicated for over 40 years to the preservation and promotion of Italy’s historical, cultural, and natural heritage, has chosen Arbos as its partner to develop sustainable museum merchandising. With its motto: “For the landscape, art, and nature. Forever, for everyone”, the FAI stands as a guardian of Italy’s beauty.
Materiali sostenibili e artigianato di alta qualità
The museum merchandising products developed by Arbos for the FAI are the result of our extensive experience in crafting with recycled materials, from paper to leather. Each item in the collection reflects the shared commitment of FAI and Arbos to a more sustainable future.
Our artisanal approach and attention to detail allowed us to create products of the highest quality, capable of matching the beauty and charm of the sites protected by the FAI.

Sustainable Merchandising for FAI’s Treasures
As experts in beauty, we have designed a museum merchandising line focused on 14 of the most stunning and significant sites safeguarded by the FAI, from Castello della Manta to Villa Necchi-Campiglio. Each site inspired a collection, developed with architect Paolo Fontana and consisting of eight refined items. The result? A product line that embodies the essence of FAI’s sites—steeped in history, art, and a profound connection to the landscape.
These products were designed to cater to a wide range of visitors, including families, school groups, and Italian and international tourists of all ages. The items are affordable, compact, and easy to carry, fitting seamlessly into suitcases or travel bags.
FAI Sites Featured in the Collection
The personalized collections were designed for 14 of the most iconic FAI sites, each with its own unique identity.
Here are the places for which we have developed a dedicated line:

– Abbazia di San Fruttuoso – Camogli (Genova)

Creative Ideas for Personalized Collections
To further enrich the collection’s value, we proposed items inspired by some of our most iconic designs, reinterpreted to best represent the FAI sites:
– Line Art: Following the style of the Venezia Segreta collection, we created covers featuring sketches of FAI properties. Items include:
– spirale 10×18 con copertina rigida in carta oro stampata in blu navy e interno coordinato, ideale per disegni all’aperto;
– quadernino 8×12 con elastico, perfetto per appunti sempre a portata di mano;
– taccuino 19×25 con copertina morbida bicolore e 160 pagine in carta riciclata;
– quaderno 15×21 in carta fluo dai colori vivaci per un tocco contemporaneo.
– mascotte: ispirati alla collezione Pups, abbiamo proposto texture con elementi simbolici rappresentativi dei beni del FAI, come animali o dettagli iconici, stampati su quaderni con copertine in cartapaglia colorata;
– nome: seguendo l’approccio della collezione Kroma, abbiamo realizzato quaderni con il nome del bene in copertina, stampato a caldo per un effetto raffinato, abbinato a bordi colorati. Un’idea perfetta per un pubblico giovane;
– fotografica: pensati per un pubblico più tradizionale, i taccuini tascabili e i quaderni includono scorci suggestivi dei beni FAI, accompagnati da testi bilingue (italiano e inglese) che raccontano la storia e il valore dei luoghi.
