With the new appointment of this weekend, the adventure of DesignCircus, Kermesse dedicated to Italian self-production, already celebrates its first year.
Developed from an idea of Stefano Epis and Laura Alberti, Design Circus has become a household event in the centre of Milan for independent design lovers, and has already enjoyed the participation of over 140 designers and 3,000 visitors.
DesignCircus opens for the second time during Expo, this time focusing on eco-sustainability. The 5th edition is in fact dedicated to “Green Design”.
On October 10th and 11th the beautiful rooms of the Giureconsulti Palace, at no. 2 Piazza Mercanti will welcome designers and small manufacturers, who will have the chance to show to the public their ideas of eco-sustainable design through lamps, furnishing elements, toys, and accessories made of recycled, recyclable, or natural materials.
A special section of the exhibition will also be dedicated to fashion and accessories, with fashion and jewel designers that make jewels, bags and fashion accessories with fabric, wood and paper scraps, and recycled materials.
The designers selected for DesignCircus “Green Design” are 27: Alborno/Grilz, Altrosguardo, Marian Diana, Giovanni D’Oria, Riccardo d’Oria, Evgenia Elkind, Formaliz3d, Rezar Frasheri, Dante Giuliani, EcoDario, Ja-Te, Lamber-Furniture, LeD Luce e Design, Luca Bignardi, Roberto Maierotti, Magda Masano, Monica Mauro, Silvia Musumarra, Battistina Penazzo, Quaderni di Carattere, Ricreando, Laura Rovida, Lidia Sanna, TrikeGo, WeWood, Carmelo Zocco, Roberto Zuliani.
Also for this edition, Arbos is partner of the event and has produced the booklet/catalogue consisting of 34 pages dedicated to DesignCircus, but also of a practical notebook.
